Palo Santo, Bursera Graveolens, is an incredibly sacred and beautiful tree in the South American countries. Also known as and translated to "holy wood", Palo Santo is burned to banish negative and evil spirits (*note* the good spirits remain), and really cleanse the area of any bad juju! Palo Santo assists with our own connection with the divine and spirit. Shamans would burn the sacred wood during rituals whilst embarking on their journey beyond the veil. The sweet, woody fragrance that fills the air will allow you to truly surrender and find peace. As Palo Santo sticks are difficult to keep lit, it is recommended to throw some Palo Santo into a fire source such as a fire pit or cauldron with a charcoal disc.  

We are incredibly honoured to be able to share Palo Santo with our Cinnabar community. These pieces are consciously harvested with absolute respect for the South Americans culture and practices.
