Retail & E-Commerce Assistant

Cinnabar Soul is seeking a highly organised and capable Retail & E-Commerce Assistant to support both our physical store and Shopify website.

This role requires strong operational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service, alongside a genuine understanding of crystals and metaphysical tools.

We’re looking for someone who values a thoughtful, well-run retail space with high standards across presentation, systems and customer experience. 

Core Responsibilities

Shopify Website Management

This role will maintain and improve our online store, including:

  • Uploading new products accurately and efficiently

  • Writing clear, grounded product descriptions

  • Managing collections, tags and categories

  • Maintaining accurate inventory between POS and Shopify

  • Monitoring stock levels and coordinating restocks

  • Updating homepage content and featured collections

  • Assisting with online customer enquiries

  • Supporting online order fulfilment as required

You must be confident navigating Shopify independently.

 

Inventory & Store Operations 

You will help ensure the store runs smoothly and remains organised.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, unpacking, pricing and merchandising stock

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records

  • Supporting stocktakes

  • Identifying and resolving stock discrepancies

  • Keeping back-of-house storage structured and orderly

  • Maintaining visually clean, well-presented shelves

  • Contributing to practical systems that improve workflow

This role requires proactive attention to detail and pride in organised spaces.

Customer Experience

  • Provide warm, confident and knowledgeable service

  • Assist customers with crystal selection and metaphysical tools

  • Support reader bookings and daily store administration

  • Contribute to a calm, welcoming store atmosphere

Retail or strong customer service experience is required.

  • Reliable and consistent

  • Experienced with Shopify

  • Familiar with crystals and metaphysical concepts beyond trends

Bonus skills:

  • Product photography

  • Social Media content creation

  • Inventory management systems

Hours

Casual or Part-Time 15 to 30 hours per week
Wednesday and Saturday availability required for busy Market days.
